Search engine optimization (SEO) is a mystery to newbies (and not-so newbies too). These FREEvideos will help you get off the ground on this subject. Part of the reason for the mysterious nature of SEO is that the seach engine companies don’t like to tell anyone how they’re doing it. And they don’t like to tell anyone when they change how they’re doing it.
Their Computers Read Your Web Pages
The basic idea is that search engines are dumb like computers so software engineeers like those at Yahoo and Google try to figure out what the content of a web page is without actually reading it. What? You thought actual humans were reading all the bazillion web pages on the internet?
Is It Important?
The software "crawls" your web page for clues as to what’s on it. Why is that important? Because the search engines use that information to rank your web page and only the highest ranked pages show up on page 1 when someone does a search.
"O" Yes
SEO tries to "optimize" the information on your web page so search engines will like what they find, and hopefully give it a high rank, and therefore, a page 1 display. Do you really think that you can generate 200 unique articles in 14 seconds from one single article? Well, you can’t. What you can do is futz around with synonyms and phrase inversions using a dictionary and a thesaurus to make it seem that each article is somehow distinctly different from all the rest. But all the articles are essentially the same, meaning that the actual cognitive content is identical.
Who Is the Author?
It isn’t you! I think it is unethical to let a computer program generate article content for you and then claim that you wrote the article with the implication that you are some sort of expert on the topic of the article. I know some internet marketers are not troubled by that, but I feel that it is dishonest. Especially if they are selling you the content and you think they wrote it. They probably didn’t write the original article either. Even if they are giving it away and your only connection with it is reading it, you still got scammed because you were misled about authorship (unless, of course, they tell you that the article was manipulated by a computer program).
WARNING !
I strongly recommend against using any word replacement software based on dictionary and thesaurus substitutions for generate faux uniqueness. Google has this tactic figured out already, and it isn’t worth your reputation to be caught in this particular trap.
I’ve set some kind of record today, which I hope demonstrates my honesty in a surreal sort of way.

I wanted to make sure that you would be dealing directly with Sylvie Fortin if you wanted to send her an email so I tested her email link before I gave Internet Marketing Sins my highest recommendation. Made sense to me but it turned out that we had a bit of a heated exchange - she can be very direct if you haven’t noticed yet.

Hammerhead Marketing
I think most of you will have an emotional and personal reaction to Sylvie’s description of getting hammered. I clearly recognized myself as the dreamer in the description of the hammerhead marketing tactic. Maybe you will too.
One of the internet guys I trust is Ed Dale. So I don’t have any hesitancy in recommending him to you.

It doesn’t cost you anything except the time it takes you to learn and apply what you need to know to make your first $10 online. OK, so $10 isn’t going to make you rich. But what you learn just might get you feeling comfortable about heading in that direction.
I don’t know if you remember that I started this particular adventure with "Ed, don’t tell me you bought another one of these things." Yeah, I did.
As I worked through the system, I found that I could not view important videos on my Mac. Michael Cheney’s support desk wasn’t any help with that. So the product should have been labelled from the first as a Windows product.
So I did what I’ve been advising you to do with any product that doesn’t live up to your expectations. I got a refund.
PLR Dump
PLR (private label rights) means that YOU didn’t write the ebook or produce the video, or make whatever the product happens to be. Some of the products in this package are PLR pass-throughs and not Michael Cheney’s products.
Personally I don’t like passing off someone else’s work as my own. Probably my science background holding me back.
Despite my personal view on this, a flourishing PLR industry exists and a lot of people sell PLR products on the premise that you will resell it and make your money that way. What they generally leave out is all the work you have to do to be successful at this strategy.
"Automatic" - Not
The advertising sales pitch for this product overhyped the potential to generate "automatic" income. It turns out that you have to do a helluva lot of work, not the least of which is build an online reputation, before anything even close to automatic income materializes.
I’m not dissing work. Work is good. The "internet life style" takes a lot of work. I’m knocking the sales pitches that claim to minimize or even eliminate the work required to make money.
Remember, no matter what they want you to believe, it’s their day job. All the internet marketing "gurus" I know worked for years to get where they are today. And they are working pretty hard to stay where they are.
